COMMENTS ON FUNDRAISING:

We look forward to what the future holds and we are excited at the possibilities they will bring to our organization. All non-profits are facing obvious financial barriers, with reduced government spending, competition for donor dollars and economic insecurity. Although health-related charities dominate in giving trends by the public, autism is not related amongst the top ten. With this in-mind, the Autism Society is faced with the daunting task of changing the public’s perceptions and becoming a readily recognizable non-profit organization.

We both greatly appreciate and need your support as we endeavour to improve our organizational capacity to inform, educate, and advocate for our membership and those persons who live with Autism in our Province.

We are looking at, and are open to, new possibilities. We are also open to any suggestions or assistance that the general public may wish to provide.

If you have any comments or ideas that you would like to share, please forward them to: administrator@autismbc.ca and we'll make sure that they go to the right person.
