Advocacy Information and Services The role of the Vancouver Island Office and coordinator is provide advocacy information and support. The purpose is to teach self-advocates and families to effectively advocate for services. Browsing Library A small browsing library with up-to-date books and videos about Autism Spectrum Disorder is maintained in the Vancouver Island office. Vancouver Island members have access to a librarian at the provincial library (1-888-437-0880). Books and videos not available in public libraries are sent free of charge through a generous donation of the Donner Foundation.
