  • Education and Asperger Syndrome -- Provides practical ideas and tips on teaching high functioning individuals.
  • Therapeutic Approaches
  • Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) -- An intensive early intervention program that focus on developing communication and cognitive skills.
  • Sensory Integration
  • Medication -- Guide to drugs & their uses.
  • Behaviour Management -- Dealing with challenging behaviours
  • Transitions -- Strategies for creating smooth transitions
  • Toilet Training -- Strategies on toilet training.
  • Strategies for Enhancing Communication -- Methods, tips, and ideas for encouraging and building communication skills.
  • PECS -- This strategy encourages the initiation of communication using pictures
  • Social Stories and Comic Strip Conversations -- Teaches appropriate social behaviours through pictures and scripts.

Advocacy Information and Services
The role of the Prince George Office and Co-ordinator is to provide advocacy information and support to individuals and families so that they can learn to effectively advocate for themselves.

Resource Library
A small resource library with up-to-date books and videos about Autism Spectrum Disorder is maintained in the Prince George office. Lending privileges to members from the provincial library (1-888-437-0880).
